Opening meeting of the LIFE+ Steering Committee

During the meeting Marek Broda (head of the Silesian Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex) and Aleksandra Banasiak (member of the Śląskie Voivodeship Board and the honorary member of the Steering Committee) appointed 32 members of the Steering Committee.

During the meeting Marek Broda (head of the Silesian Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex) and Aleksandra Banasiak (member of the Śląskie Voivodeship Board and the honorary member of the Steering Committee) appointed 32 members of the Steering Committee.

The Steering Committee appointed in the framework of the LIFE+ project is an advisory body for the realization of the project. The foundation of the Steering Committee is advised by the European Commission (Regulation (EC) No 614/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council).

The Committee consists of the academics and representatives of the partners of the project, farmers, tourists and the police. The Committee is chaired by the presidium which is a consultative organ of the head of the Silesian Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex. The presidium consists of: prof. dr hab. Aleksander Hreczek (chairman of the presidium), prof. dr hab. Adam Rostański (deputy chairman), Elżbieta Joseph-Tomaszewska (member of the presidium), prof. dr hab. Janusz Hereźniak (member of the presidium) and prof. dr hab. Stanisław Wika (member of the presidium).
