Meeting with the staff of LIFE Project carried out in Ponidzie

On 8^th January 2015 in the seat of the Silesian Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex there took place a meeting between the members of the staff of the Project LIFE11 NAT/PL/432 and the Project LIFE13 NAT/PL/000038 (http://life.pk.kielce.pl/).

The meeting was a part of the cooperation agreement which had been signed before, and aimed at the exchange of experiences connected with the realization of the Project actions. The staff of the Silesian Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex, who had been involved in their Project for a longer period of time, gladly answered the questions of their colleagues from Ponidzie.

The issues connected with the logistics of herding and grazing were discussed during the meeting, including, in particular, issues such as: how the grazing shall be carried out, what kind of sheep are used in grazing, and what possible threats might the sheep encounter. Moreover, the participants of the meeting discussed the removal of brushwood in the naturally valuable areas, and the most important issues connected with accounting.
