LIFE+ Information Day

On 1^st July 2014 the staff of the projects LIFE+: LIFE11 NAT/PL/432 (Artur Wojtasik, Milena Ziętek) and the staff of project LiIFE+:LIFE12/NATP/L/000081 and the members of the Silesian Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex staff took part in the LIFE+ Information Day organized by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw http://www.nfosigw.gov.pl/srodki-zagraniczne/instrument-finansowy-life/aktualnosci/art,168,dzien-informacyjny-life-2014.html.

This event provided a great opportunity to exchange experiences for the beneficiaries and institutions interested in applying for the co-funding. During the conference the participants shared the experiences of applying for the co-funding and realization of the actions in all three components: LIFE+ Nature and Biodiversity, LIFE+ Environment Policy and Governance, and LIFE+ Information and Communication. The speakers presented good practice in constructing application forms and the strategies of realization of the project actions for each component. A discussion panel started after the lectures. The participants asked questions connected to the application process, co-operation with other entities and implementing the project objectives among the society and community. Moreover, promotional stands of the current and former LIFE+ beneficiaries in Poland were laid out next to the conference lecture hall. The conference organized by National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw the ended with a dinner.
