SVLPC’s project on the protection of the Orle Gniazda Landscape Park habitats received EU grant as a part of the LIFE+ Financial Instrument. The project got the highest score from among all the project proposals concerning nature all over Europe.

Meeting with the local community of Olsztyn

A meeting with the members of the local community and local authorities of Olsztyn took place on 17th June 2014 at 2.15 PM in the building of the Municipal Council.

A multimedia presentation shown during the meeting covered main actions involved in our projekt LIFE+: LIFE11 NAT/PL/432 (especially the ongoing and finished actions in the area of Olsztyn-Mirów refugium) and plans for the next stages of the realization of the project. Afterwards, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions. They wanted to know more about sheep grazing in particular. The participants were provided with refreshments.
