Educational workshop

In February and March of 2014 another educational workshop took place as a part of the framework of the educational campaign “Get to know the grasslands – grazing’s not for fun”.

The students of the Institute of Archeology of Jagiellonian University and children from primary schools in Klucze took part in an educational workshop. Workshop organizers prepared a talk about project “Protection of valuable natural non-forest habitats typical of the Orle Gniazda Landscape Park”. The participants were taught about natural values of semi-natural dry grasslands and threats to grassland habitats and species. They also learned about the methods of wildlife conservation. After multimedia presentation participants discussed the actions carried out in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland within the framework of the Life+ project.
