SVLPC’s project on the protection of the Orle Gniazda Landscape Park habitats received EU grant as a part of the LIFE+ Financial Instrument. The project got the highest score from among all the project proposals concerning nature all over Europe.

The promotional video of our LIFE+ project

On 19^th and 20^th of September 2013 at 5.35 p.m. a promotional video of our LIFE+ project “Protection of valuable natural non-forest habitats typical of the Orle Gniazda Landscape Park” has been broadcasted by a local TV station TVP Katowice.

The aim of the video was to promote the main objectives of the project. The video was realized in area included in the project. The video was shot in 3 locations: near the Olsztyn Castle which is in the management of the Common Land Development Company in Olsztyn (entity which realized part of animal grazing in Olsztyn-Mirów refugium), in Piaseczno (Kroczyce refugium) and in the scientific and educational centre of the Silesian Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex in Smoleń. The following people were featured in the video: Marek Broda – Head of the Silesian Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex, Artur Wojtasik – Project Coordinator, dr Barbara Majchrzak and dr Cezary Gębicki from Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa.

Project NAT/PL/432 “Protection of valuable natural non-forest habitats typical of the Orle Gniazda Landscape Park” is co-financed by the European Economic Community as a part of the LIFE+ Financial Instrument for the Environment and by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw.
