Meeting with the local community in Olsztyn

On 24^th of May 2013 took place a meeting with representatives of owners of grounds included in our LIFE+ project.

During the meeting Mr. Włodzimierz Nabiałek who is a Chairman of the Common Land Development Company in Olsztyn signed an agreement allowing the Silesian Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex and its partners to carry out project actions such as grazing and tree and shrub removal in the area of Skałki Duże, Skałki Małe, Ostra Górka, Statkowa Góra, and Cegielnia Hill.

The discussion involved the issue of the way of organizing grazing and the participation and involvement of the local community in nature protection.

The provisions of the agreements granting the consent for the implementation of actions in the area of Środkowa Jura refugium, Kroczyce refugium and Złoty Potok refugium are still being discussed.
